The Smart Guide brushless speed controller series uses "Balanced Discharge Monitoring & Protection" (BDMP) technology. This technologically advanced system provides real time (in-flight) monitoring of the discharge voltage of each cell in your Lithium Polymer battery pack. You can program the ESC for a soft or hard cutoff at either 2.75V, 3.00V or 3.25V using the eZ Programmer or your transmitter.
